July 8, 2008Groovy...
I can't remember if I've written about this before, but my friend Bryony (I say friend, I mean person whose blog I subscribe to. Though perhaps in this Brave New World that counts, who knows?) decided a while back to make a zombie movie on the internet. So the premise is that people from all over the world can be invovled in script writing and acting and make up and effects and whatnot and it will be broadcast online when it's finished.
Anyway we've all been chatting (and mostly arguing :p) about making this movie and what it should have in it and all sorts for a while now. But now the BBC have decided to make a documentary about the making of this zombie movie. I shit you not. Check it out: http://www.bbc.co.uk/zombies And watch the video too! And get involved. It's exciting.

July 7, 2008It's like living in an episode of The Young Ones
Got my internets!
My house is big, I'm sharing with my boyfriend and 3 mates I've known for 7 years so it's all good, we're like a big family... in a way. I'm the only girl in the house which also suits me just fine. It's a long way from where I work though so I get home knackered every day. (Can't be bothered to number my blogs any more..)

June 24, 2008Blog # 13 - Home Sweet Home
I am still alive!
I now live in Sutton Coldfield. I have a housewarming/Kelly's Birthday on 5th July. Most people have better things to do though apparently. I don't have real internet yet. Only shitty dialup and it's making me impatient. I will write more once that's sorted.

June 15, 2008Blog # 12 - I can't say where it is but I know I'm going home
Since I got back home today I've spent my time packing up all my belongings. It's almost 11pm and I'm not done yet. It took me half an hour to scrape all the blu tac off the walls.
Just thought I'd write in here before I pack up my computer. God knows where I'll be living next time I get to write in here!

May 28, 2008Blog # 10 - Six Go Mad In Newquay!What a brilliant weekend that was!
Only in Britain on a May bank holiday could you nearly catch pneumonia and get sunburnt in the space of 24 hours! Good beach, good campsite, good scenery, good surfing, questionable weather, great company. (Pictured: Jenny, Me (aren't I short?!), Josh & Kelly (my boyfriend). Not pictured: Alex (my best friend) and Hannah)

May 21, 2008Blog # 8 - Me, but on a good day...?
I've been having that Berocca
stuff for the past couple of days. When I was on my teacher training
course people swore by it so I thought I'd give it a go. I was
wondering what I would be like on a good day anyway.
So far the only difference that I've noticed between normal me, and me on a 'good day' is that on these 'good days,' my wee is luminous yellowy green. That is all.

May 7, 2008Blog # 6 - Sun-Shining and Tree-Scaling
These past few days have been the first sign for me here in UsuallyCloudyBirmingham that summer might actually be on the way!
Sunshine always cheers me up, It's tricky to feel sad in the sunshine don't you think? I didn't even mind too much that it was like a greenhouse on the bus home from work today. Though I can see it wearing thin after a while... Anyway I've been playing out a lot in the sun lately. Yesterday I left work early and the boyfriend and I went to the park to play with a boomerang my friend brought us back from Australia. I wasn't very good at it but I did get a bit better before the end. At the weekend I played out at Sutton Park. Today was my first proper day at my new job/promotion. I like it, it's got a lot more variety than my previous job. And I get a bigger desk. I know that shouldn't really matter, but I do make a lot of piles of paper when I'm working hard I've also been told I have to make a presentation about stats to people who do my job from all the other offices. I think they'll regret that when they realise I can actually barely count! Hope you're all doing well

April 27, 2008Blog # 5 - I Woz Robbed!
We got burgled Friday night
Iwas at the pub (only drinking orange juice because I'm still on all the drugs in the world) and my boyfriend was at a driving lesson. The house was only empty for one hour. And we'd locked up and everything. When my boyfriend came back from his driving lesson he couldn't get in the front door, his key wouldn't work, so he went round the back, at which point I got a phone call of him asking 'did you leave the living room window open when you went out?' I said no, which mean one thing... robbed! My boyfriend had to get in to the house through out living room window (apparently that's how the thieves got out). I came back from the pub and my boyfriend gave me the damage... They took the PS3 + all the games, the laptop, a mobile phone + charger (how thoughtful), 2 cameras and a friend's rucksack which they'd emptied, probably to carry the PS3 in. We called the police, they were busy and so didn't arrive until 3am. They asked us questions, took down details of what was stolen and gave us a crime number to tell the insurance company (yeh we're insured, thank fuck). Apparently the downstairs toilet window is a really old crappy design whereby, even if it's locked, you can bash the frame hard from the outside, the lock pops up and if you're quick enough, you can open the window. That's how they got in. Someone came about 5am to dust the pace for prints. They wore gloves and apparently the police reckon it was probably just the local heroine addicts. Thanks, I feel a lot better now... It's not really the fact that they took stuff from me that shook me up, I'm insured anyway. it's the fact that some shit has broken into my house and seen all my private things. The whole place was entirely ransacked, all my drawers were open, my underwear drawer had been rifled through, my bedside table drawer (which has some..ehm..private stuff in). They'd clearly rifled through all my medication to see what was worth selling/taking. It just feels really violating and nasty. We were thinking of moving anyway, but I'm sure as hell going to step it up a notch now!

April 25, 2008Blog #4 - Bonnie & Clyde
Bonnie & Clyde vs Dracula
Bonnie & Clyde vs. Dracula combines the rough and tumble world of 1930's era gangster movies with the violent gothic atmosphere of a classic horror film. When a robbery goes bad and one of their companions is shot, Bonnie (Tiffany Shepis) and Clyde (Trent Haaga) are forced to seek help at a nearby mansion, home to the twisted Dr. Loveless (Allen Lowman) and his imprisoned sister, Annabel (Jennifer Friend). But Loveless has a secret. Deep in his cellar, the recently revived Dracula (Russell Friend) awaits... Seriously?!

April 19, 2008Blog # 3 - Gore and Googlewhacks
Last night a group of friends came over to my house (I share a house with my boyfriend) to watch a DVD that we'd been wanting to watch for a while. Kelly (the aforementioned boyfriend) and I eventually bought it off Amazon for a friend for his birthday. The film in question was I Bought A Vampire Motorcycle.
It's a British film from 1990 starring Neil Morrisey as the guy who buys the vampiric motorbike. As yes it's as silly as it sounds. The reason we were so excited to see it, not only do we love to watch bad horror films. It was also filmed on the very streets we live on! My local is even in it! That was very exciting indeed. Though lots of things are when you've had a couple of beers I suppose.I didn't get up until nearly 3pm today. I think I was catching up from all the sleep I miss out on during the week. I could have carried on sleeping but in my mind if you get up any later than the time kids leave school for he day, then that's a terribly horribly lazy day indeed. So the boyfriend and I have pretty much written today off as a day of laziness. We just watched Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure, which made me happy, and now we are faffing about on our respective computerboxes, drinking juice and eating Easter Eggs (yes, still!) That's what weekends are about I reckon.~ Pixie

April 15, 2008Blog # 2 - Headaches & Hair-dos
I want new hair again. I've decided I want to grow it out for it to be longer again because I can do much more with it then but I'm getting impatient waiting for it to grow. Also I have to re-do the green parts of my hair because it's washing out and turning yellow and although the fadey effect is quite cool, I'm not really a yellow person...
In other news: ![]() I really reallly am. I've been poorly for months now, although the docs have given me tablets to make the headaches less evil, they're still attacking me from all angles! I'm even feeling one coming on right now actually. Grrr! I hope this clears up soon! x

April 11, 2008Blog # 1 - Skiving and Summer
I'm not at work and I should be! I'm not really skiving I was at a hospital appointment this afternoon and now by the time I got to work I would only be there for2 hours so there's little point. I'll take it as holiday.
This gives me time to tell you about the exciting news that I got my hands of some tickets for the Reading Festival this summer. Hells yes! Check out the line up! I'm really excited :) I go with my friends every year, we all camp out all weekend, get drunk, see bands, it's fun as. There's about 14 of us going this summer. it will be very cool. Aside from that it my friend Stu's birthday this weekend. Plus my parents are coming up to visit, so I'd better tidy up my house or there'll be tutting galore! x
